KZNTR Summer Series | 26 Oct – 23 Nov
The heat is on this summer with the classic KZNTR Summer Series, now a 4-part showdown of some of the best short course trail running on offer. From the rolling hills of Mt Moorland to the rugged slopes of PMB’s Table Mountain, this series will test speed, grit and consistency like never before.
The Line-Up:
26 Oct – Mt Moreland (Durban)
2 Nov – Bishopstowe (PMB)
9 Nov – Run Collective (Infinity Adventures, Botha’s Hill)
23 Nov – Table Mountain (PMB)
To be in the mix for the overall series results (and the crowning of champs), runners need to complete at least 2 of the 4 races.
Expect vibrant race villages, sponsored hydration, finisher badges and courses that showcase the best of KZN’s trail scene. We aim to build competitive fields up front and community vibe of runners and walkers right through the field.

Amatikulu limited to 200
This special event comes with some limitations. Hosted in a unique and sensitive environment, we have taken the decision together with the Ezemvelo Honorary Officers to limit the field of participants to 200 in the interests of keeping our impact to a minimum.
Into the future, you can expect this event to become one of our premier events, but for now, you can still experience it at our Standard Race entry fee.

We jumped the gun with announcing previous calendar changes too early!
So it has taken us sometime to programme everything back in the way we like it, but we have found what we think works best to finish off 2025. See our latest calendar published on our website which is now the final calendar for 2025.
Notable adjustments are that The Border Post Trail Run will not take place and what was briefly Kenneth Stainbank is now Mt Moreland.
We are working on the 2026 Calendar and hope to release it soon!
HOWICK TRAIL RUN 05 OCTOBER 2025
Set just outside of Howick at the charming La Petite France Café, a Midlands favourite that blends countryside charm with natural beauty, the Howick Trail is a mix of wide open grasslands and agricultural lands and spectacular valley views.
Participants will traverse a unique mix of terrain as they make their way through the Preston Dairy Farm and Westfalia Avocado Farm. The routes feature technical off-trail running, flowing singletrack, rolling grasslands and the open landscapes the region is known for, sneaky climbs that KZNT is known for, and with the chance to spot blou wildebeest along the way!
This is more than a race, it’s a day out exploring a hidden gem in the Midlands for the whole family, combining movement, fresh air and unforgettable scenery.
