Known for their raw, technical trails, we are excited to be collaborating with the Howick Mountain Bike Club to bring you the Howick Trail Run in partnership with SAPPI!
The 10km & 20km courses will get stuck into the heart of the trail network with climbs and technical sections, while the accessible 5km course takes in the surrounding farmlands.
Pre-entries close at MIDDAY on Friday, 28th February. Late entries will be available on the day of the event but at a R50 surcharge (U18’s exempt).
KZNTR KidZone will be available for Children (2yrs+). Experienced childminders will allow parents to get out and enjoy exhilarating trails by distracting (and watching over) the little ones with stimulating and fun activities at the Race Village.
As KZNTR is moving toward the more ecologically friendly cupless water tables, we ask you to please ensure that you bring your own trail cup, water bottles and/or hydration packs for on course hydration and refills!
Directions
Venue: 11 Karkloof, Howick.
From Pietermaritzburg (ETA 33 min) and Durban (ETA 1 hr 20 min):
- Travel northbound on the N3.
- Take exit 103 and turn right onto the R103.
- Follow the R103 for 2km and turn left onto Main Road.
- Follow Main Road for 2km and turn right onto Karkloof Rd.
- Continue straight for 6.6km and turn right into 11 Karkloof Rd.
