Entries are open for the 5th edition of Drakensberg Northern Trail!
Taking place on 23 March 2019 at the top of the Olivierhoek Pass, DNT is mountain running at its finest, offering something for everyone.
Since its inception, the event has continued to grow in popularity, attracting participants from all over the country many of whom return year after year. Unsurprising considering the setting and the experience – from the pristine grasslands of the foothills to the never-ending views over KZN and the Freestate from the summit.
The Mountain Marathon and Mountain Run, 38km and 20km respectively, offer proper mountain running including some challenging technical terrain, whilst the 10km explores the foothills around Sterkfontein Dam and the 6km stays close to the venue and is ideal for walkers and children.

DNT is an event that can be enjoyed by the whole family and there is a huge selection of fantastic accommodation in the area, including limited on-site and camping. Trail enthusiasts of all ages, fitness and ability will have the opportunity to have a memorable trail adventure in the stunning northern Drakensberg!
