We’ve left our weekly mailer to the final hour of the last day in the working week, and despite there not being a KZNTR event until the 20th of February, it’s been nice and busy! We are using the time to prepare thoroughly for all the 2022 races and ensure the groundwork is laid for a calendar of special trail events!
But this week we have some incredibly exciting changes to the structure of KZNTR. Sanele Dladla, who has worked at KZNTR since July 2012, and has grown his skills and understanding of Trail Running and Adventure through frontline experience, will become a shareholder (51%) while continuing management position as of the 1st of March 2022.
We are also very happy to announce the appointment of Mmeli Ndimande to assist him in his growing portfolio at KZNTR. Mmeli has a wealth of experience in sports administration and has demonstrated his leadership as the chairman of the Inanda Dam Trail Club.
This next phase of the journey has a buoyant and exciting feeling about it, we will ride this wave of momentum that leads us out of the covid years and into a very interesting period of regrowth and establishment under a new structure, but with a wealth of experience we have gained through the fight we endured in the last two years.

Ingeli Mountain Marathon Entries Open on 11 February
Ingeli Mountain Marathon is the 4th race in the Mountain Marathon Series and will take place on Saturday 30 July 2022. It has become a classic trail in its own right first run in 2013 but only becoming part of the series in 2021.
We will be opening with some great specials that include accommodation and meals for the weekend at ANEW Resort Ingeli Forest. Click below to follow the FB page and keep up to date.
