Midlands Series Gilboa Challenge, Karkloof Trail Marathon Relay – jol guaranteed, and the Spring Mnweni

Dear Trail Runners & Walkers,

The Midlands Series got off to a stunning start at the Howick Trail at La Petite France. This time of year in the Midlands is just spectacular as the trees become a riot of reds & coppers and the mornings become ever crisper!

The second event in the series takes us to Bushwillow Park for the Gilboa Challange. The 15km and 10km routes both have proper climbs (600 – 75m elevation…), but the tracks should be firm and the views from the top of the Grey Mare’s Tail waterfall spectacular!

The short course provides a perfect option for walkers, children and those new to trail running.

Come and join us for some of the best of the Midlands!

Spring Mnweni

If you haven’t seen the pics from this past weekend at Mnweni, you are obviously not on social media (click on image to see the album)!

A race with a huge reputation, the weather threw in the wow-factor this past weekend with a rare snow run.

Now we aren’t saying it will snow in Spring for the September version…then again, we are not saying it won’t either…

But what is guaranteed is a massive challenge on a raw, rugged mountain trail.

The Spring Mnweni will have light markings only (GPS navigation essential), no aid stations.

Just you and the mountains. Make sure you are prepared for the challenge!

We have block-booked the Mnweni Cultural Centre accommodation, so all bookigns are to be done through our website.
