Lesotho Ultra unlikely to take place in 2020 due to borders still being closed...

With Sports & Recreation events opening up under Level 2 in South Africa, there is growing excitement as possibilities start to emerge.
At this point some races are scheduled to go ahead, but Lesotho Ultra still has a big question mark over it until the international borders reopen. ☹️
Getting all the necessary paperwork to take our race equipment across the border is challenging under normal circumstances, so we anticipate a big backlog as & when the borders do reopen.
We will be having discussions with the Maliba management and taking a decision soon 👀

Mnweni this weekend!!!!!

Finally we take back to the mountain trails in a limited covid19 format this weekend.
Its going to be a special time in the mountains and while we can’t gather in the way we normally do, just spending time out on the trail in the Drakensberg is more than enough to get our blood going.
It’s also the first time KZNTR host this historical and long lived challenge that will take the 40km runners right over the top of the escarpment.
The newly introduced 20km stays lower in the mountains but is also set to thrill!

Its been great working with the community in the area who are set to benefit from the race. Watch for the post race wrap up!
