This event will have batch starts. Racers to start in the official batches (times listed below). Non-racers can choose their batches at Registration (subject to availability).
Maximum 100 runners per batch. Batches will be allocated at registration on a first come first serve basis. When a batch has reached its capacity of 100 runners it will become unavailable. You can start in any batch regardless of your distance, but all 20km runners must start no later than 7am.
Recommended “racing” batches are listed below and we encourage those wanting to race one another to group in those batches. There is no official prize-giving, but lucky draws will be handed out on the finish-line and podiums announced.

Cupless Water Tables
As KZNTR is moving toward the more ecologically friendly cupless water tables, we ask you to please ensure that you bring your own trail cup, water bottles and/or hydration packs for on-course hydration and refills!

Please note that there will be no KZNTR KidZone available at this event.

Directions:
Venue: Kenneth Stainbank Nature Reserve, Yellow Wood Park, Durban.
From Pietermaritzburg (ETA 1hr 10min) and Durban:
- Travel on the N3 southbound to Durban.
- Take the EB Cloete Interchange, following the signs for Port Shepstone, to get onto the N2 southbound.
- Take Exit 161 and turn left at the robots into Solomon Mahlangu Dr.
- Turn right at the first set of robots into Wakesliegh Rd.
- Take the first left into Cliffview Rd.
- Follow for ~1.1km and turn left into Sarnia Rd.
- Turn right at the second set of Robots into Coedmore Rd.
- Cross the bridge and keep right at the fork into Coedmore Avenue.
- Continue for 1km and Kenneth Stainbank Nature Reserve will come up on the right.
