“I was decorating our Christmas Tree yesterday (a constant struggle between children’s enthusiasm for SPARKLES and my tendency towards less-is-more) and I kept holding back some decorations thinking “We need this for decoration at the Christmas Run”.
But besides the fact that it was 2 against one and Ben & Charlie were putting decorations up way faster than I could take them down, their enthusiasm was contagious. They want all the joy (because stars, glitter and tinsel = joy to small kids) and they were an unstoppable force in hunting it down. They won. ALL the decorations are now adorning our lounge, and it is magnificent!
So, to celebrate joy (and to us bigger kids, trails = joy), as well as a reminder to be unstoppable in our quest to seek out joy, our Christmas Night Run badges will double as fridge magnets AND a tree decoration!
And if Ben & Charlie have their way, they might even have something sparkly!
