We are absolutely thrilled to announce that our new website for the Mountain Marathon Series is live!
This is a brand new hub of information, filled with everything you need to know about the Mountain Marathon Series races for the year ahead!
The Mountain Marathon Series is a unique running adventure series, that covers 5 spectacular mountain ranges in South Africa.
This year, the series consists of:
Drakensberg Northern Trail Mnweni Mountain Marathon Soutpansberg Mountain Marathon Ingeli Mountain Marathon Uitsoek Mountain Marathon… and the finale…

Each race has its own unique character and vibe, with accommodation options varying from self-camp, dorm, rondavel to hotel. Also catering to the family and friends vibe, each event offers shorter distances (20km, 10km and 5km) so you you don’t have to leave the family behind to embrace your adventure!
This is raw, real, mountain running at its finest!
* Next up is the Mnweni Mountain Marathon on 07 May 2022 at the Mnweni Cultural Centre. 40km event is limited to 150 participants and is filling up fast..
MS Howick Trail this Sunday
Hosted on Preston Farms at La Petite France Café, the Howick Trail is the ideal family event!
With a kid-friendly 6km route, shady play area for littlies, excellent coffee and space to sprawl out in the sun soaking up the post-race vibes, it makes for a top start to any Sunday!
Between KZNTR Merch, Trail Shed and Funky Pants, you can kit yourself out top-to toe at the MS Howick Trail this weekend!
