We are excited to continue to bring you epic, memorable trail races of a high standard… as we have been doing since 2009!
The standard of races in trail running is improving each year and by increasing our prices we’ll be keeping you at the forefront of this growth!
Trail running is growing in popularity and professionalism; health and safety measures – as well as other business costs – are increasing in price. We haven’t changed our prices since 2019 and so, through this change, are keeping ahead of inflation.
The races we will continue to bring you are of a high standard and have an added, extra level of fun… don’t miss out!!

The Inspire Series!
KZNTR has, over the last few years, fostered a strong relationship with three clubs/foundations: the Southern Loadstar Foundation, Inanda Trail Running Club and Liv2Run. We had an exciting idea to create a unique series of races in partnership with each of them… and they all jumped at the idea with enthusiasm!
For a number of years, these organisations have been supported with free entries to KZNTR events. These groups will now be beneficiaries of the series events, meaning that they will be earning an income from trail running too!
The Southern Loadstar Foundation linked up with KZNTR after Andre Redinger, the founder of Southern Loadstar, completed the first Karkloof 100miler – in 2017 – in style!
Mmeli Ndimande, the founder of the Inanda Trail Running Club, is an inspirational character who gets stuck in to helping his team flourish… and they sure do!
Lindi Meyer, who lives life with endless kindness for others, started Liv2Run … a team of visionaries with incredible talent!
The series will involve these teams as co-organisers of the events!
