Midlands Series Launches with 4for3 Special
Dear Trail Runners & Walkers,
KZNTR has always been centered in the Midlands, so it’s surprising in a way that this has not happened earlier. But change is the flavor of the times, and we need to adapt and reposition our trail offerings and race groupings, and of course offer new and exciting venues!
By taking some established races and adding “The Lions River Trail Run”, then reworking the calendar a bit, we present “The Midlands Series” – a set of 4 classic midlands venues. All offering something – check out the different race descriptions below.
Run all 4 but only pay for 3!!
We are offering a 4FOR3 SPECIAL and an upgrade to all those already entered into the first race (drop an email to info@kzntrailrunning.co.za to upgrade your entry). The special is valid for 1 week, closing at midday on Thursday 1 April.
18 April – Howick Trail Run. Farm lifestyle out of the Karkloof Market.
16 May – Gilboa Challenge. A short, sharp Mountain Challenge out of Bushwillow
23 May – Lions River Trail Run. Brand new event out of the Lions River Trading Post taking in river trails and surrounding farmlands.
6 June – WESSA Umngeni Valley Trail Run. Well-known local favorite that brings in valley bushveld and Umngeni River views to finish the series
* The Midlands Series replaces the Winter Series. Aloe Wildlife will not take place on 9 May.

You can either book a full safari tent that’s sleeps up to 6 people on floor mattress’s (bring your own bedding), or if you are looking for a single spot, book a mattress in a 6 sleeper, sharing with other runners.
