2021 KZNTR Calendar Release
We had hoped to release it a few weeks back, but getting in the final dates in order is always a big job.
But here it is and it’s something to get really excited about considering how many of these we missed out on in 2020!
There are some new ones, old ones, and some making a comeback. One of the most exciting aspects of the new calendar is the Mountain Marathon Series (check out the dates & venues below…), which now spans 8 events across half the country!

Zululami - looking into 2021
We couldn’t agree more that Zululami‘s breath-taking sea views, enchanting forests, picturesque wetlands, and stretches of golden beach were a perfect fit for our Coastal Series finale!
Check out our 2021 calendar and make sure the 24th Jan 2020 at Zululami Luxury Coastal Estate goes in the diary now – especially those who missed the event held there a few weeks ago. With the inclusion of neighbouring estate Seaton, whether you want to lose yourself in rolling grasslands, if it’s the challenge of the beach run or some of those sneaky hills that take you by surprise, you won’t want to miss out on this stand-alone event that we’re putting together with the developer’s Collins Residential.
If our previous events are anything to go by, this one’s going to be an absolute cracker…Think summer, salt air, lush coastal vegetation, great company, awesome race village, stiff competition!

WESSA Trail Run - our final 2020 event!
Join us for some Christmas and year-end trail-fun at one of our favourite venues in KZNTR’s home town – Howick.
WESSA uMngeni Valley was a lifesaver during lockdown when the trails opened, and events like this are our way of giving a little love back by through the funds the event raises for them.
NB: The event is now a day time race, with batched starts from 6 am on Saturday 12 December (it was originally scheduled as a night race).
It’s going to be a celebration at the end of what has been a year full of twists and turns. So join us for a trail, a bite to eat and a brew!
