Karkloof - The 21km Celebration Loop
For the first (and only time), we have decided the offer the opportunity to runners to run/walk a half-lap of the Karkloof100 route, measuring 21km on Sunday 27 September 2020. Being the easier of the two loops, with less than 300m of climbing and idyllic pine tree single track, it’s been dubbed the “Honey Loop”.
We are offering this as a once-off event this year after numerous requests from crew and supporters of the race, who normally get their trail fix by pacing a mate through the weekend.
We also see this unique one-off event as an opportunity to celebrate what should be a very special weekend and edition of the race, having endured so much and worked so hard to get here.
For 2021 we will be back to our original format of out and back with pacers, full crews etc.
While we have moved to Lockdown Level 1 today, we still have to stick very closely to our approved protocols that are enabling us to host this event. Thus we have limited the number of entries to 75 and all COVID protocols will apply.
So join us this Sunday and be part of a very special trail vibe…who knows you might just find yourself on the start line to a 50 / 100 Miler come 2021…!
Venue: Karkloof Country Club
Date: 27 September 2020
Start Time: 6.30am
Aid Stations – 1
Entry Fee – R250
Limited to 75 entries.
DNT Entries Re-Open!
DNT2020 is set to take place on the 5th of December from the top of Oliviershoek Pass, as it has for the past 5 years. This year it’s just a little later, but it will still be a summer event that shows off the beautiful Drakensberg in a clear, green and crisp state.
While the race was fully subscribed, the date change has opened some capacity, and the opportunity to get some trail time into 2020!! Entries are available for all distances (6k, 10k, 20k,40k).
Accommodation must be booked separately.

Blythedale Coastal Trail 4 October 2020
Coastal Series 2020 is totally happening and kicks off in just under 2 weeks time at one of our most stunning venues on KZN’s north coast – Blythedale Coastal Estate!
The 5km is very manageable along the dunes with sea views, while the 12km and 20km are definitely more challenging with a few climbs and soft sand underfoot.
The highlights are definitely the beach and the lush coastal forest as seen in the image above.
Join us for our first short course after the long hiatus. Blyethdaale was our last race before lockdown and it’s our first Sunday morning race back!
See you there!
