Introducing the new Garden Trail Series – enjoy personalised, custom made trails in the comfort of your own backyard!
Date: Sunday, 12 April 2020
Start time: 7:00am
Finish Time: 1:30pm
Distances: 2km | 5km | 10km | 20km
Elevation: Do you really have to go up those stairs?
Badges are always awesome! To qualify for a personalised badge courtesy of Idea Man and Legend, Rhyan Rudman, you will have to participate in all 3 events. Please be sure to post pictures onto the Facebook group and submit your times!
On the day of each event, at 2:00pm, there will be a LIVE lucky draw taking place. The main prize will include a R200 KZNTR voucher, a KZNTR Vest and Buff. Only the most creative post (think pictures, videos, aid stations, marshalls, kiddies runs etc.) on the Facebook KZN Trail Running Group page will be able to take this prize!
There will also be a few lucky draw prizes that will be drawn out the hat. Who knows – it could be you!
Interested in getting your very own exclusive Garden Trail Series T-shirt or vest? KZNTR and VR Sports have teamed together once again to bring you the limited Garden Series Trail race garments. Choose between Green or B&W options are available in men or ladies cuts and a range of sizes are available (from kiddies through to XXL).
Important!
Please note that the shirts will only be made up once VR sports are able to return to work. It may take up to 30 days after opening for the shirts and vests to be available. Shirts will be collected fro KZNTR or delivered at a cost of R100 (max 5 shirts per delivery).

To be included in the results you will have to submit your times and distances. A button will be made on this page as well as a link on the Facebook event page on the day of each event. To stand a chance at winning the Lucky Draw, be sure to add your fun and creative posts to the KZN Trail Running Group!

On the day, there will be a FB Live Feed from 6:45am with the official start at 7:00 am. The running/posting window will close at 1:30pm!
Personalised backyard courses
Too much climbing? take a detour. Not enough water tables? add a few more. Can’t see markers? Then you are probably going to have to retrace your steps on that one… Just make sure that you run enough loops, or whichever haphazard pattern makes you happy, to get enough milage to meet the distance requirements for one of the four courses. Submit your results and we’ll handle it from there!
