Today we officially launch the 2026 KZNTR Calendar — a full, adventure-packed year of trail running across KwaZulu-Natal.
It’s our biggest and most complete calendar yet, with only the occasional free weekend as we travel the province delivering events for this incredible community.
Why such a full calendar?
Firstly, because KZN is rich with world-class trail running venues, and we believe in serving the trail community far and wide — travelling to the places you love just as you travel to run with us.
Secondly, a consistent events calendar keeps meaningful work flowing to the many people who make KZNTR what it is: our crew, partners, suppliers, service providers and vendors who earn their income through event weekends.
And lastly, every KZNTR event is an opportunity to support the natural spaces we run in. By using these environments responsibly and contributing through entry-fee donations, we help sustain the wild places we value so deeply.
With that in mind, we’re proud to share the full 2026 lineup — a year designed to grow the community, support the people behind the scenes and give back to the trails that give us so much.

Our most recent event with Run Collective and our long term partnership with Funky Pants a great examples of how we can do things together! So in 2026 KZN Trail Running is opening the door for brands, companies, and industry role players to partner with us across our event calendar — and we’re inviting you to be part of the journey. Each KZNTR event will feature a main partner at each event, a brand that adds value by bringing their own energy, ideas, and presence to the day. This isn’t a traditional sponsorship or financial transaction — it’s a value-exchange partnership designed to elevate the event experience and connect your brand directly with the KZNTR community. 2026 Entry Fees: No Increase – Just More ValueWe’re happy to confirm that KZNTR will not be increasing entry fees from 2025 to 2026. Why? we hear you ask…
So help us spread the word — invite friends, colleagues, family, and anyone who needs a breath of fresh air. There are lots of people out there who would thrive on the trails who just don’t know it! Early Entry = Best ValueTo reward those who commit early, every event will open with a 48-hour launch special. January Events LaunchMonday, 17 November After the special, our usual 10% early bird will remain in place until 3 weeks before the event, just as in previous years. Special Rates Remain UnchangedWe’re also keeping our U18 and Pensioner rates exactly as they are. |
