"House Warming" run at Bishopstowe Hall
Dear Trail Runners & Walkers,
Being a family-run business for many years, KZNTR began in the home office, a garage start-up so to speak. In 2017 KZNTR made a new home at 11 Karkloof, neatly positioned on the Karkloof100 route. But COVID hit and we were forced back into the garage where we have been making things happen for almost 3 years. So you can imagine how excited we are to be venturing back out and finding a new home for KZNTR at Bishopstowe Hall, just outside PMB, neatly positioned on the route of the Dusi Canoe Marathon.
It’s a homecoming in many ways, as it is on the trails surrounding the Hall that KZNTR first came to be. The Hall played a significant role in some of our very first events back in 2008 and 2009, and it feels like it’s been sitting there all this time waiting for us to take up our place.Surrounded by natural bush and farmland, KZNTR will be setting up a network of trails based from the Bishopstowe Hall that will be accessible throughout the year.
To celebrate the move to our new home, we invite you to our “House Warming” in the form of a Trail Run on the first Sunday of December 2022. It’s our launch race and where we will be able to host you for an event right in our new back yard.
A space we have been running in for nearly 15 years, a space where we return to and remember our roots and why we run.
We hope to see everyone who has participated with us over the years come to the event and celebrate this milestone with us.

Summer Series Honey Trail
- hidden gem near Botha's Hill
Race 2 of the Summer Series takes place just outside Hillcrest.
A refuge from the urban bustle. Honey Trails is hedden in plain sight and brings pristine trails through grasslands that have been protected for decades! All routes offer fast-paced running, but beware the sting in the trail of the 10 &15km!
With walkers welcome on all three courses and half-price juniors entries, it’s the perfect option for a family adventure in nature.
There will be the Monthly Market happening at Honey Trails on the morning of the race, so you can expect delicious homemade food and drink as well as crafts.
