Kid Zone
In Race Village

The Bushman’s Trail has been established in collaboration between KZN Trail Running and the Estcourt Athletics Club. With the race village located at Wagendrift Dam just off the N3 in Estcourt, it is highly accessible from both Durban and inland. Offering a lifestyle weekend away, or individual day entries, there are multiple distances on each day to structure your own stage race!

Registration opens on Friday at 5pm and closes at 7pm with the informal evening run taking place at 5.30pm.

Registration will also be open on Saturday from 6am and Sunday from 5am for those arriving on the day or running only one of the stages.

Pre-entries close at MIDDAY on Thursday, 04th April.  Late entries will be available on the day of the event but at a R50 surcharge (U18’s exempt). Substitutions can also be made before the event but need to be finalised a week before the event commences and are charged a R50 admin fee. To arrange a substitution, contact info@kzntrailrunning.co.za.

A variety of services will be available offering gourmet food and beverages, exciting entertainment and an adventurous weekend away in the bush.

KZNTR KidZone will be available for Children (2yrs+). Experienced childminders will  by distracting (and watching over) the little ones with stimulating and fun activities at the Race Village allowing parents to get out and enjoy exhilarating trails.

Sadly our craft brewers can’t be with us this weekend so be sure to bring your own. The weather report looks like it is going to be a gluwine and sherry affair! Ice will be on sale at the event.

As KZNTR is moving toward the more ecologically friendly cupless water tables, we ask you to please ensure that you bring your own trail cup, water bottles and/or hydration packs for on course hydration and refills!

Ezemvelo fee of R30 for Adults is payable at the entrance to the Wagendrift Dam, kids under 12 are free (Wild Card = Free Entry).

Please take note that meals are not included in the ticket entries but service providers will be on site selling food and beverages.
