Lace up for the Balgowan Trail Run – an adventure you won’t forget!
Set in the heart of the Michaelhouse reserve, this scenic trail winds through untouched grasslands and magical NCT plantations, with the chance to spot Oribi, vibrant birdlife, and a striking herd of Nguni cattle along the way.
Tackle a rewarding hilltop climb and take in panoramic views stretching from Midmar Dam to the iconic iNhlosane peak and even the distant majesty of Giant’s Castle.
Proudly hosted by the Balgowan Conservancy in partnership with Michaelhouse and KZNTR, this event is a celebration of community and conservation in one of the Midlands’ most picturesque valleys.
