Set amidst the breathtaking beauty of the Michaelhouse reserve, this trail takes you through pristine grasslands and enchanting NCT plantations, offering the chance to spot the elusive Oribi, vibrant birdlife, and a herd of majestic Nguni cattle. Conquer the hilltop and be rewarded with sweeping views of the sparkling Midmar Dam, the iconic iNhlosane peak, and the grandeur of Giant’s Castle on the horizon. Hosted by the Balgowan Conservancy in partnership with Michaelhouse and KZNTR, this event celebrates the conservation of our precious natural spaces.
