And that's a wrap for 2021
Our Christmas Trail at Barn Owl on Saturday was a great way to wrap up what can only be described as our most testing year to date at KZNTR. So much happened and here is not the place to dissect it, instead here is the place to take stock, be students to the lessons, and look forward to new times ahead. The uncertainty we have all lived through is particularly hard on the tourism, hospitality, and the events sector as patrons have become so unsure of whether or not the tickets they are purchasing for a specific date will even happen. Having many events on our calendar has helped curb this issue to a point, but we all look forward to the day on which the state of disaster is dropped and we can start to plan with more certainty again. We are hopeful that this will come early in the new year!
So with this in mind, many have asked us the question of how we have survived all of this as a small business. Of course it took a lot of vasbyt, resilience, perseverance, all of those things. We knew what we were fighting for was well worth it, but most important of all we have had a community of runners who has held us through all of this, both spiritually and financially. It started when a few people insisted on “paying” for garden series and continues today with runners continuing to enter our 2022 events even though we are at the start of the 4th Covid wave.
Thanks to all of you, your generosity, spirit, messages of support and understanding as things have continuously changed through the year has been unwavering and we have felt it.

Rocky Bay to start 2022
Each Race and Series only happens once in 2022. No repeat events at KZNTR!
