Race Details
This Howick treasure, WESSA uMngeni Nature Reserve, hugs the edge of the uMngeni Valley with grasslands, valley bushveld and epic views into and down the valley!
A trail-lovers paradise and some of Andrew & Laurens’ favourite trails of all time, the routes take one from to valley bottom on single track, jeep track and the infamous “concrete strips”!
Breath in the peace and space while taking in views of the uMngeni River, Albert Falls Dam, and local wildlife!

Registration and Late Entries: Registration opens at 5:30 am and a R50 additional charge applies to late entries (U18’s Exempt).
Cupless Water Tables
As KZNTR is moving toward the more ecologically friendly cupless water tables, we ask you to please ensure that you bring your own trail cup, water bottles and/or hydration packs for on-course hydration and refills!

Directions
Venue: 1 Karkloof Rd, Howick
From Pietermaritzburg (ETA 30min) and Durban (ETA 120min):
- Travel northbound on the N3.
- Take exit 103 and turn right onto the R103.
- Follow the R103 for 2 km and turn left onto Main Road.
- Follow Main Road for 2 km and turn right onto Karkloof Rd.
- Continue straight for 1.1 km and turn right into 1 Karkloof Rd.
